The Social  Media Examiner blog is one of the most intriguing and useful you could find on the web if you search for suggestions about how to leverage the social media as a marketing tool for your business.
This post about Twitter is one I loved really much. It could be the source for several post, since I believe the 17 hints need a deep analysis and reflection to be correctly developed.
Let me start with nr. 4, by Nichole Kelly, publisher of FullFrontalROI.com, whose Twitter nickname is @Nichole_Kelly
Let me quote it before start discussing its suggestions
#4: Use search features to discover what your clients want
Use the search feature in a Twitter tool like HootSuite to watch for conversations about a problem your business can solve. It will give you insight into what is on your prospects’ minds and provide an open door for you to help them.
Try providing a link to a great article or video that answers their question. This one action could lead to an ongoing dialogue that in turn may lead to a customer relationship later.
HootSuite is truly a very power tool: and for a very little investment, less than 6 $/month you can profit of all the “muscles” this device can offer you. And they take care of you: just after having subscribed the monthly fee I received an email to guide me understanding the setting procedure of the software and how to use it in a profitable way.
Quora is another way to answer questions, and not the only one. But I have to say that fishing in the Twitter sea with Hootsuite and providing spontaneous and free contribution to potential reader is a great idea.
What do you think about?
